Bicentennial Edition. The view depicted on this three-dimensional ornament is the two-story high-column piazza on the east front--one of the most striking architectural features of the Mansion. The 24-karat gold-plated brass ornament has been exquisitely painted on the front to reflect the true colors of Mount Vernon. You can actually peek into the windows for glimpses of life at Mount Vernon.

The back of the ornament is a meticulously detailed rendering of the furnishings of the Attic, Lafayette Bedroom, Small Hall Bedroom, Yellow Bedroom, Master Bedroom, Large Dining Room, Music Room, Central Passage, Downstairs Bedroom, and Study. The rendering has been inserted into the ornament to create the dollhouse effect. The ornament is engraved with Mount Vernon 1999 on the bottom.
